Who we are

Loadroo is an Australian freight-marketplace startup preparing a Melbourne pilot. You can contact the team responsible for this website at privacy@loadroo.com. The operating entity and business registration details will be published here before paid bookings open and are available on request in the meantime.

What we collect

We may collect your name, email address, phone number, role, suburb, optional business name, contact consent, campaign source and information you provide during early-access or qualification conversations. If you use the product preview later, freight, route, vehicle and business-verification information may also be collected.

Why we collect it

We use personal information to manage the waitlist, respond to enquiries, assess customer and carrier suitability, understand likely freight demand and truck capacity, plan the pilot, prevent abuse and improve Loadroo. We do not sell waitlist information.

If you do not provide information

You do not have to join the waitlist. Without the required contact and location information, however, we may be unable to register your interest, assess route compatibility or contact you about a pilot place.

Who we disclose information to

We may disclose information to service providers that support website hosting, database storage, email delivery, security, analytics and customer operations, and to professional advisers or authorities where reasonably required or authorised by law. We limit disclosure to what is needed for those purposes.

Overseas processing

Some technology providers may process or store information outside Australia, including in the United States and other locations where they operate. Their privacy and security terms apply to that processing.

Optional analytics

If you accept optional tracking, Google Analytics, Meta and TikTok may receive information about your visit, campaign source and whether a waitlist signup was completed. These tools remain disabled if you reject optional tracking or if Loadroo has not configured them. You can clear your browser’s Loadroo site data to reset your choice.

Retention

We generally retain waitlist information while planning and operating the pilot and for up to 24 months after your last meaningful interaction, unless a longer period is reasonably required for legal, security or record-keeping purposes. We may delete or de-identify information earlier when it is no longer needed.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Access, correction and deletion

You may ask to access or correct your personal information, request deletion where appropriate, withdraw contact consent or opt out of marketing by emailing privacy@loadroo.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Privacy complaints

Email privacy@loadroo.com with the details of your concern. We aim to acknowledge complaints promptly and respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

This notice covers the current waitlist and product preview. Additional marketplace and transaction notices will be provided before paid bookings become available.
